Recently, my boyfriend + I have become interested in finding new + exciting places to hike. He lives in New Hampshire, so there are plenty of opportunities for us to explore! A few weeks ago, we did our first hike at Franconia Falls Trail in Lincoln, NH. This trail was pretty easy + about 6 miles long round-trip. My historical eye was loving that this trail was on an old railroad, the tracks + artifacts along the way made for an interesting + thoughtful journey. Most of the trail was quite flat, however, when you get closer to the Falls, it is a little more compact + steep, but nothing too difficult.

This past Saturday, we hiked White Arrow Trail on Mt. Monadnock in Jaffrey, NH with friends. This was a more moderate hike (very challenging for us). It didn't help that the humidity + temperature was extremely high that day. Most of the terrain is at a very steep incline + the second half of it is all rock. It is about 4 miles, but seems a lot longer because of the inclines + rock. We all got through it + pushed one another! The view at the top was spectacular + certainly worth the sweat + exhaustion.

If you live in the New England area, please leave some suggestions of your favorite hikes! We want to get more in before Winter comes!

XO Elle
