31-Day Clean Eating Challenge

On August 1st, I will be starting a 31-day clean eating challenge with my gym. Since the beginning of this year, I have truly dedicated my days to getting back into a healthy routine. I started off strong losing about 25 pounds by May, but lately I have felt a bit off-track. June and July were a really busy time for me with bachelorettes, bridal showers + weddings. No excuses are to be made, but we all go through difficult times in our journey and that is what makes us even stronger once we overcome them. The past couple of weeks I have been more focused and back on track. I was unsure about joining this challenge, but then I thought more about it and asked myself, what are you unsure about? Do you not want to commit because you’re afraid that you’ll fall off and fail? With that mindset, I was already onto a path to failure regardless if I was going to join the challenge or not. I already had it in my mind that I was probably going to “cheat” and not be able to do it. Once I looked at it that way and reminded myself of how frustrated I have been with my stand-still lately, I decided I didn’t have a choice. This challenge will make me accountable for what I am eating, something I have been struggling with lately, and with a straight 30 days of eating clean, it is more likely to become natural and easy as time goes on. I am coming up with a plan for posts during this challenge – whether it be daily, weekly or sporadic, so STAY TUNED! If you truly want something, you will go out and get it. I challenge you to accept a new challenge in your life whether it comes to you or you go out and get it yourself.
